It just needed some prodding from Craig Cmehil (as always) and I’ve just uploaded two of my plugins to the official wordpress repository. This blog also serves to be a shout out to my friend Oliver Kohl whom I’ve been constantly pestering to upload his fantastic SDN Contibutor plugin to the official wordpress repository. It’s a damn good plugin and he should upload it to the plugin directory to let everyone use his piece of work.
The submission process is a breeze which starts with the filling of a submission form and waiting for your submission to get approved. Once it does, (it usually takes about a day), you get access to a subversion repository where you upload your plugin files and a readme.txt and you are done.

A couple of days back I had blogged about ESME - The Enterprise Social Messaging Experiment, about how it was initiated, who all are involved and what we are trying to build.
As Dennis Howlett mentions in his Blog on SDN, we are a group of individuals from the community who share a dream of making enterprise social messaging a problem solver for the enterprise and though we have not met, we know each other and more importantly completely trust each other.

What started off as an one off experiment is growing into a full fledged avatar management platform with more and more functionality being added every day. With a avatar timeline per user along with it’s feed, Tiltviewer and many more upcoming features all of which can be found on the Chinposin Blog, this was a perfect platform to develope my first Wordpress Widget.

Introduction
I had blogged about how one can use the SAP Widget Foundation with Adobe Flex/Air in this Blog : Enterprise Widget Foundation & Adobe Flex : Awesome Twosome ? (Video) .
That was just an example or a Proof of Concept. What I have here is something that makes the whole deal a lot more easier for everyone. The Actionscript Libraries for SAP Widget Foundation lets anyone using Adobe technologies consume services from the Widget foundation at ease without having to wonder about the nitty gritties of the REST services exposed by SAPWF.
